Annapurna Base Camp Trek With Optional Chitwan Jungle Safari Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300M).

    Your journey in Nepal begins today. A Vyas Treks & Expedition repersentative will be waiting for you at the Airport. He/she will drop you at your hotel where you can take a rest. In the evening you can enjoy a welcome dinner hosted by Vyas Treks & Expedition. During the dinner you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine which will introduce you to the country’s food culture.Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu: sightseeing.

    Your tour UNESCO World Heritage Sites today. These sites highlight Nepal’s cultural and religious heritages. Your first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square which showcases Kathmandu’s rich architectural prowess during the Malla dynasty (c1201–1769),and then Swayambhunath Stupa which tourists commonly refer to as the ‘Monkey Temple’ owing to a large number of the monkey population in the vicinity. Next is Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world followed by the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Lastly, in the late afternoon you visit Vyas Treks and Expedition’s office for a brief orientation on your trek. Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya.

  • Day 3 Drive to Pokhara( Flight is Optional) Overnight at Pokhara Hotel (820M).

    You drive to pokhara early in the morning from kathmandu (approx: 5/6 hours) by luxury tourist bus . As soon as you arrived in Pokhara,you notice the spectacular Himalayan vista the city is adorned with. You can see Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five peaks of Annapurna from Pokhara and overnight at Hotel Dandelion.

  • Day 4 Drive to Nayapul then Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,480M).

    After breakfast you drive to nayapul by private vehicle and start the trek. you walk through a valley forest, cross the Bhurundi Khola( river) before reaching Tikhudhunga village. When you reach Tikhudhunga you can see panaromic view of mountain from there and overnight at guest house.

  • Day 5 Tikhudhunga to Ghorepani via ulleri (2,860M).

    After breakfast, you ascend to the Ghorepani village via stone stairs. As you are ascending you admire the spectacular scenery as Annapurna South looms large, coming and going from your view. you pass waterfalls, tiny villages, and several tea-houses before reaching Ghorepani. You stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri mountains. The village has small shops that sell local products such as handbags and crafts. The village also has good wi-fi. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 6 Hike to Poonhill 3210 M, Trek to Tadapani (2,630M).

    You get up early in the morning to reach Poon Hill just in time to see the sunrise over the Himalayas. Poon Hill is the most popular destination to enjoy close up views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges and enjoy the sunrise from these majestic mountains. From Poon Hill.

    you also get incredible views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains. After enjoying a cup of coffee, you trek back to Ghorepani. you have breakfast here then walk towards the east and climb a ridge. Your trail descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before you reach Tadapani. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 7 Tadapani to Chhomrong Village (2,170M).

    The trail starts off with a descent through a large rhododendron forest. The forest trail ends and your trail opens up to beautifully terraced fields. You walk uphill for around 5 km and pass waterfalls and reach a suspension bridge. Suspension bridges are very common in the hilly and mountainous regions of Nepal. A few more miles of uphill and downhill trekking and you reach your destination for today, Chhomrong. It is a beautiful village right below the giant Annapurna massive. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 8 Chhomrong to Bamboo (2,310M).

    You leave Chhomrong and walk on quite a number of stone steps before reaching the Chhomrong Khola. You cross a suspension bridge over the river and begin an uphill climb to inuwa. Your trail passes through a beautiful forest to Kuldihar. From here you embark on an easy descent to Bamboo. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 9 Bamboo to Deurali (3,230M).

    You pass through a bamboo forest which is damp and cold. You then walk uphill on a trail which is sometimes steep. It is only after reaching Himalaya Hotel that the forest opens up and you are out in the sun again with astounding views of the glacial river below. It is a steep climb up through a much drier forest before reaching Hinku Cave. From here your trail descends to a river before ascending to Deurali. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills and Mt. Dhaulagiri. You notice that the vegetation has become sparse allowing magical views of the valley, the river below and cliffs adorned with waterfalls. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 10 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130M).

    After breakfast trek to Annapurna Base Camp,you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills and Mt. Dhaulagiri. You notice that the vegetation has become sparse allowing magical views of the valley, the river below and cliffs adorned with waterfalls.

  • Day 11 Annapurna Base Camp to Bambo (2,310M).

    From Annapurna Base Camp your trail rapidly descends past the Machhapuchhre Base camp, Deurali, Himalayan Hotel and Doban and finally to Bamboo where you spend the night. Today’s trek is downhill so it shouldn’t be very difficult. Overnight in Bamboo.

  • Day 12 Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1,760M).

    You retrace your step back to Chhomrong where you stop for lunch. From Chomrong it is a steep descent down to the Modi Khola valley. The stone steps to Chhomrong are equally tricky as they were before. The trail then descends to Jhinu Danda, where you will be resting for the night. On the way, you enjoy your walking through rain forests and farms. After reaching Jhinu Danda, you can spend the rest of the afternoon taking a rest and relaxing. Overnight at Guest House.

  • Day 13 Jhinu Danda to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara (820M).

    You leave Jhinu Danda and enjoy the beautiful hill landscape of western Nepal on your way to Naya Pul. You have lunch on the way. The actual trek to the Annapurna Sanctuary and back ends today. You board your vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel Dandelion.

  • Day 14 Half day sightseeing in pokhara or Boating in Fewa Lake.

    After one night stay at pokhara hotel then second day you can do half day sightseing in pokhara( Davis Falls, Gupeteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple,) or Boating in fewa lake as per your requirements. Overnight at Hotel Dandelion.

  • Day 15 Drive to kathmandu from pokhara( Flight is Optional).

    Your Drive to kathhmandu in the morning. After arrived in kathmandu You will be dropped off at your hotel in the city. You can spend the day taking the much needed rest or catch up on some last minute shopping. Either way, your mark the end of your successful trip with a farewell dinner hosted by Vyas Treks and Expedition where you can share your experiences of the trek before flying back home the next day. Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya.

  • Day 16 Final departure.

    Your trip to Nepal ends today. You will be dropped off at the Airport by a company representative 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
