Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek explores the far east area of Nepal and takes you near the border of Sikkim (India) and Nepal. You will explore around the third highest mountain in the world, Mt. Kanchenjunga (8,586 m). Kanchenjunga region falls under the restricted area in Nepal, which requires special permission from the government to trek. Likewise, it is mandatory to trek with a guide, and there should be at least two people in the group, not including the guide. Because of expensive permits and other restrictive rules imposed by the Nepal government on the region, not many travelers visit this region every year. This has made the trail unspoiled and pristine. Moreover, the Kanchenjunga Circuit Trek 25 Days trail has been considered a premium route in the Himalayas with very challenging and adventurous terrain.

Kanchenjunga Circuit Trekking lets you experience remote Nepali villages, ancient cultural heritage, a very different living style of the locals, and dense alpine forests. The trail passes through forests, where you might get to see exclusive animals like Himalayan black bear, red panda, snow leopard, Assamese macaque, and many others. Likewise, you will see a diverse range of vegetation, flowers, and medicinal herbs. You will see the blend of Hinduism and Tibetan Buddhism in the region. The trail offers breath-taking landscapes and panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Kanchenjunga word is derived from the Tibetan word, which means Five Great Treasures in the Snow - Gold, Silver, Precious Stones, Grain, and Holy Scriptures. As you will gain elevation, you will see a change in the views and the climate. The trail will gradually lead you to the Yalung Base Camp and Kanchenjunga Base Camp that offers spectacular views of Mt. Everest (8,848 m), Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Makalu (8,481 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,188 m), Mt. Baruntse (7,129 m), Mt. Pumori (7,161 m), Jongsong (7,483 m), Kabru (7,353 m), Tent Peak (7,365 m), and numerous others.
