Mardi Himal Trek With Rafting And Chitwan Jungle Safari Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300M).
Day 2 Kathmandu: sightseeing.
Your tour UNESCO World Heritage Sites today. These sites highlight Nepal’s cultural and religious heritages. Your first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square which showcases Kathmandu’s rich architectural prowess during the Malla dynasty (1201–1769),and then Swayambhunath Stupa which tourists commonly refer to as the ‘Monkey Temple’ owing to a large number of the monkey population in the vicinity. Next is Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world followed by the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Lastly, in the late afternoon you visit Vyas Treks and Expedition’s office for a brief orientation on your trek. Overnight at Hotel Holy Himalaya.
Day 3 Early Morning Kathmandu to Rafting for Overnight Stay.
You drive for rafting early in the Morning from Kathmandu to approx. 3 hours’ starting point Charaudi 85 KM and do raft for about 3 hours.Overnight at tented camp in River Fun Resort.
Day 4 After breakfast drive to Pokhara 3-4 hours by tourist bus and drive to Pothana (2,100M).
After an early morning breakfast drive to Pokhara 3-4 hours by tourist bus. You start your adventure with a drive to Pothana (2,100M) approx. 2 hrs by private vehicle (Jeep / Bus). Overnight at Guest House
Day 5 From Pothana to Forest Camp approx. 5-6 hrs (2,500m).
After breakfast trek to Forest Camp from Pothana.Your trail passes through lush forest dotted with the red rhododendrons. The flowers are a common sight in Nepalese hills and it is no surprise that its Nepal’s national flower. Your trail is very quiet until you reach a clearing of the forest camp. You can take rest and explore the area which is also known locally as Kokar. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 6 Forest Camp to low camp (2,970m/9,504ft): 5-6 hours.
You continue to walk through dense forests admiring Nepal’s rich biodiversity and reach the low camp. From here, the fantastic view of Mt. Machapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail) up the valley is mesmerizing. You can spend some time in the evening observing the local lifestyle. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 7 Low camp to high camp (3,540m/11,328ft): 3-4 hours.
Your trek uphill alongside a ridge towards Mardi Himal and Macchhapuchhre. The tree lines start getting thinner and the area mostly consists of shrubs with isolated rhododendron bushes along the trail. If lucky, you might even come across the Daphne pheasant (national bird of Nepal) on way to high camp. You ascend up to the high camp, which the final destination of the day. From here the mountain views are stunning. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 8 High camp to upper viewpoint (4,250m/13,600ft), return back to high camp: 2-3 hours.
On your trek to the upper viewpoint you ascend and descend, and sometimes on a steep and narrow trail. Your trail passes through pastures and you hike along a narrow ridge before reaching the Upper Viewpoint. The view of the Himalayan vista from here is astonishing. You see Mardi Himal (5,587m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna south (7,219m), Hiunchuli (6,441m), Baraha Shikhar (Mt. Fang) (7,647m), Tent Peak (5,695m), Singhachuli (6,501m), Machapuchhre (6,993m) and others. You trek back to the high camp for an overnight stay. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 9 High camp to Sidhing Village (1,700m/5,440ft): 6-7 hours.
You take a different route in high camp that takes you to Sidhing instead of going back down to Mardi Himal. The different route lets your experience something different and makes your trek exciting. Siddhing offers a quiet stay for trekkers as it is tucked away from the busier trails. Overnight at Guest House.
Day 10 Trek down to Pokhara via Khanepani. approx. 4-5 hrs (1,100m).
After an early breakfast, you walk towards Khanepani finally reaching the road from where you begin our drive to Pokhara. After reaching in pokhara, overnight at Hotel Dandelion.
Day 11 Sightseeing tour in Pokhara or boating in Phewa Lake.
After breakfast Sightseeing tour in Pokhara( Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Cave, Bindabasini Temple) or boating in Phewa Lake for an hour and hiking to Peace Pagoda. Overnight at Hotel Dandelion (B)
Day 12 After breakfast and drive to Chitwan approx. 4 hours by tourist bus.
After breakfast and drive to Chitwan approx. 4 hours by tourist bus, transfer to hotel, Welcome drinks, Evening walk, and Tharu cultural show. Overnight at Hotel Seven Star (B.L.D)
Day 13 All Activities and Relax Day.
After breakfast, Elephant Safari, Canoeing, Visit Elephant breeding center, Elephant bath, Tharu dance, dinner. Overnight at Hotel Seven Star (BL.D).
Day 14 Early Morning Bird watching and drive back to Kathmandu 4-5 hour’s drive or flight.
